I love the pastel colors of this shot and the
Perfect composition, with the many layers receding into the background drawing you in deeper to the frame. Superb work.

Thank you, I am rather happy I was able to capture this. It was in an inlet with a major waterfall. To have the water so calm is amazing and being in a dingy made it more challenging...
I truly appreciate the compliment! thank you

Lovely. I miss the BC coast, even though we never had days quite this calm. :)

Which inlet is this?

the inlet is Princess Louisa by way of Jervis Inlet...it was quite beautiful. it was calm like this the whole time we were there...next year we go to the Broughtons :D

...how do you like Reed?

Heh. I didn't go up that one, though we did pass through Jervis.

Reed is... interesting. A good interesting. There are certainly things I dislike about it, but it has one of the higher concentrations of good people that I've encountered thus far, and the intensity of the place never ceases to stagger me. It's a wonderful place for growth at any rate, and I think it's what I need this early in my life. Something to really challenge me and who and what I am.

Do you have a connection to Reed at all? *curious*

It seems a fairly peaceful place. I knew some people who went there many years ago. My brother considered it but landed at LC...I only drive by every so often when I head up to Woodstock...Good luck with your challenge quest...it's often just when you think you have yourself all figured out, something comes along to remind you that maybe you don't after all...like age. ;)

Heh, I've never heard anyone describe Reed as "peaceful" before. =P Though, there's the perennial cry that "Olde Reed is dead", so maybe it was different at some point.

LC is a good place too. I prefer Reed, but I'm slightly biased. ;)

Oh, yes. Reed is very good at making me realize that I don't know anything.

it's cool isn't it...It totally blew my mind. I was out in a tender on this inlet in Canada, as the sun was setting. All I could to was tell my friend to keep the boat where it was...I am sure he thought I was insane but all I could think of was THIS IS A PAINTING!
so unreal- surreal...it was a WOW moment :omg:
Glad you like it!
